Chalan Pago-Ordot sits along Route 4, which runs from the capital of Hagåtña to Pago Bay on the eastern side of the island. Route 4 roughly divides the island in half. Pago on Pago Bay is an ancient settlement that became a Catholic village in the late 1600s. After a series of disasters, it was abandoned in the 1850s and the people joined other villages. Points of interest in Chalan Pago-Ordot include the “We are Guam, We are Ordot-Chalan Pago” mural which was established in 2010. It is part of the Guam Visitors Bureau’s “We are Guam” branding program which installed nineteen murals across the island.
