Learn about homes for sale in Piti, Guam
The village of Piti sits on the coast between Asan and Agat. A traditional Chamorro village, Piti was also the site of the surrender of the Spanish to the Americans in 1898 during the Spanish-American War. Later, Piti was largely destroyed during World War II. Today it is a small residential area that is close to Naval Base Guam, the U.S. Naval Hospital Complex in Agana Heights, and Santa Rita.
Piti is known for its two beach parks, Tepungan Beach Park and the Pedro Santos Memorial Park. Fishing is prohibited along this section of coast due to the establishment of the Piti Bomb Holes Marine Preserve. This makes it a great area to go diving and snorkeling as the sea life is abundant.
